Open-source online research is the first logical step in almost any investigative case or project. Many investigators or operators are however unaware of the subtle traces they may leave behind while engaging in this initial probing activity – and as such are at risk of compromising their person, operation, or organization.
You might for example anonymously check a person of interest’s profile today, but subsequently show up in their list of recommended connections tomorrow. Or an aggressive party might notice that their website has been accessed by your phone, and decide to retrieve which WiFi-networks it has made contact with in the past – subsequently identifying your home address.
TGI’s Signature Reduction Course teaches a proven SIGREDUX-method through practical scenario’s, familiarization with tools and techniques, and foundational and theoretical knowledge. The core objective of this course is to teach valuable new skills that enable the participants to identify the risks and opportunities of doing online research and help them become even more resilient while doing so.
